The Miz has a plan in case Maryse goes into labor.
The Miz and his wife Maryse have been filming a television show and traveling all over the country. On the Rover's Morning Glory radio show. The Miz was explaining the complicated and strenuous nature of his job and then mentioned his wife is in the late stages of pregnancy. The Miz said if Maryse went into labor, he has a contingency plan built into his travel plans.
"My wife is pregnant and she's ready to burst at any moment. So my phone is always on and I'm waiting on her to basically call and say 'hey, you've got to go.'" said The Miz. "I go 100 percent...My wife asked me one thing she said 'listen I just want you there. I want you to be there. I want to share this moment with you, the person that I love.' This is the first child we're ever going to have and I was like 'I will be there.' I have on stand by a private jet anywhere I am, I make sure I will be able to fly to my wife and make sure I can be there," he continued.
The Miz has been scheduled to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 34 in a triple threat match. He said even Wrestlemania would not be enough to keep him away from his wife and soon-to-be-born baby.
"If my baby decides to come on Wrestlemania, 'see you Wrestlemania.' My baby is more important," said The Miz.
According to The Miz, WWE has to be ready to change things on the fly because of injuries and other complications. He also said WWE would "have to be okay" with him leaving for the birth of his child.
