The Miz and John Morrison will challenge for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at WWE Super ShowDown 2020.
After weeks of verbally sparring with Kofi Kingston and Big E, Miz and Morrison will get their opportunity at the top tag team spot on the blue brand when they take on The New Day in Saudi Arabia.
John Morrison made his return to WWE coming to the aid of The Miz after The Miz had lost a match to Kofi Kingston and reacted with violence suddenly turning heel. In the weeks that followed, both Miz and John Morrison would defeat members of The New Day in singles competition before earning their opportunity the gold in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match on the January 31 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Miz and Morrison are no strangers to tag team gold having held multiple iterations of WWE Tag Team Championships throughout their run as a tag team from 2007 - 2009. This will be John Morrison's first time going over to Saudi Arabia, The Miz, on the other hand, has had much success having made it to the finals of the best in the world tournament at WWE Crown Jewel in 2018.
