The Miz is not criticizing CM Punk for going after his dream.

CM Punk's UFC return has been long awaited since his last fight in September of 2016. This week more reports surfaced of CM Punk facing mixed-martial-arts media member and professional fighter Mike Jackson at UFC 225 in Chicago. TMZ Sports caught up with The Miz this week and asked his opinion on CM Punk's performance in UFC so far. The Miz said he can not knock CM Punk for doing his best.

RJ City: There’s An Old Saying That You F*ck Like You Wrestle, I Think It’s True

"The guy was going after a dream, he's always wanted to do that. Whenever you go after a dream, why smash on it? He's going to do his best, he's going to try his hardest. I imagine he's training his heart out to do the best he can in the Octagon. I hope he does well," said The Miz.

According to The Miz, CM Punk has not been the kind of person to pay attention to negative feedback online and WWE wrestlers have a particularly "thick skin." The interview can be seen in the video below.
