The Miz has plans for after SummerSlam.
At WWE SummerSlam, the Miz will be wrestling Daniel Bryan in a match that WWE said has been "eight years in the making" but in an interview with SkySports the Miz revealed he already made plans for post-SummerSlam. He plans to beat Daniel Bryan and move into the WWE Championship picture.
"I deserve to be in the WWE Championship match. So I said 'listen, if I beat Daniel Bryan I deserve to be in that match.' So, I'm hoping that once I beat Daniel I can go after AJ, take that title, and bring the relevancy and prestige back to that title that I did with the Intercontinental," said the Miz.
The Miz has expressed before that the WWE Championship has taken a back seat before but in this interview he put some blame on Champion AJ Styles.
"I know how to make noise, I really do. I'm really good at it. Sometimes I feel like AJ kind of coasts. He's great in the ring, one of the best in-ring performers that WWE has ever had...But I feel like I can elevate that title more than he can," said the Miz.
