Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s promo on the June 1 episode of AEW Dynamite is one that got many people talking and according to a new breakdown of the viewership for the episode, held a lot of audience members’ attention as well. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has provided a new breakdown of the viewership for the June 1 episode, revealing that MJF’s promo segment held the six highest minutes of viewership in the key demographic for the entire episode.
Per the report, the peak of the episode in the demo was at 8:27 pm with 661,000 viewers, equal to a 0.51 P18-49 rating. Also, The MJF promo’s highest total viewership by minute was 1.123 million viewers, at 8:27 pm.

The 6 most-viewed minutes in P18-49 were during the MJF promo, and 5 of the top 11 in total viewership. Viewership fell during the ad break that followed.

During the promo, Max openly called Tony Khan “a fucking mark” and begged to be fired.
In the aftermath of the promo, MJF’s merchandise has been removed from ShopAEW and Maxwell no longer has a profile page on the roster selection of AEW’s website.
