Mr. Kennedy reflects on training Tiffany Stratton.
Mr. Kennedy had a hand in training Tiffany Stratton, who went on to become one of NXT's brightest stars, as she won the NXT Women's Championship. Stratton moved to the main roster in 2024, and she won the Women's Money in the Bank match. She then cashed in on Nia Jax and pinned her to win the WWE Women's Championship.
Speaking on Cafe de Rene with Rene Dupree, Mr. Kennedy was asked to look back on training Tiffany Stratton.
“She’s one of those…it’s crazy because she got the athleticism immediately. She’s one of those people that you bump a certain way, you get up a certain way. The first time, she got up the wrong way, and I was like, ‘Ah,’ and next time, she did it perfectly. I never had to tell her again. She was focused on the physicality part. I got her first promo that she ever did, and it was rough. To see her coming out of her shell like that, maybe we’re biased, but I feel like what we’ve seen, that she’s got a really bright future. She could be a Charlotte Flair," Anderson said.
Anderson also noted that he enjoyed seeing Stratton’s success and said that she would have make it if somebody else had trained her.
Stratton is set to defend the WWE Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair at WWE WrestleMania 41.
