Myron Reed reacts to The Rascalz reuniting on NXT television.
On the July 9th edition of WWE NXT, Wes Lee cut a promo in the ring after losing to Oba Femi at Heatwave. Just when it looked like Lee was about to give up on his future in NXT, The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) would come out and light a fire under Wes. The trio would go on to reunite in trios action on the July 15th edition of NXT, defeating Gallus.
One Rascalz member who hasn't featured on NXT so far is Myron Reed. While speaking to Bodyslam.net's Mark O'Brien in a recent interview, Reed was asked about the factions reunion on NXT programming.
"Yeah man when I seen them come out I've seen my eyes, like, watering up. Like, it's a really cool experience just to know that, like, pretty much what both of them went through. You know, because while they were going through it, I'm the one, like, talking to them. They're talking to each other. It's a lot of going through shit and finally making it to where you deserve to be at was really cool to see. As far as like, I wish I was there too type thing. Of course, I wish I was there, but I know that everything that they're doing right now, they got it under control. If they need me, they'll call me. I'm really happy for them, like I said I'm the youngest one and I got time. I got time and I'm just growing. So, you know, when my time does come, I'm ready."
The Rascalz are currently scheduled to compete at TNA Slammiversary on Saturday, and will take on the No Quarter Catch Crew. You can read more about that here.
