During her 2017 reign as SmackDown Women's Champion, Naomi debuted a new Glow Championship to go along with her persona.
WWE has done personal touch championships often throughout history, including 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt having his own custom title as the current WWE Universal Champion. Naomi's Glow Championship was well-received by fans and the only time WWE has done a custom Women's Championship.
Speaking to So Catch, Naomi discussed the origins of the title and revealed she has plans to bring the Glow back should she recapture a championship.
"I was given the 'okay' to do it. I had the idea and I took it somewhere to get done. We tried a couple of times with a company but they just couldn't get it...we tried all kinds of stuff. We tried glow paint and a few different options. Finally, I took it into my own hands to get it to glow. It was short-lived and I hope one day, when I hold a championship again, it'll come back and it'll be better. I'll make it better. I've got some ideas and ways to make it look more seamless and flawless," she said.
Naomi hasn't been on WWE television since July 2019. She said in September that she was dealing with health issues and would return when the time was right.
Elsewhere during the interview, Naomi said she would like to team with Bianca Belair or Ember Moon in the women's tag team division. You can view her full comments by clicking here.
