Natalya then took to social media and commented on the match. She said that she was sick of pretending that she hasn't always been main-event material. Natalya stated that she was as hungry, talented, and ambitious as anyone in NXT, and she wanted to prove it in her match.

In an NXT Exclusive, Natalya commented on her loss after Karmen Petrovic noted that she felt bad that the veteran broke her Sharpshooter to help her.

“Honestly, I’m not mad at you. I’m not mad at you at all. I don’t know what I was thinking. It had nothing to do with you. You didn’t do anything wrong. I’m not mad at you. I don’t know what I should have done. If I could turn back time, I don’t know what I would have done different. I just know this isn’t over," Natalya said.
