Natalya considers Ronda Rousey a friend and a different kind of professional wrestler.
After WrestleMania 34, Ronda Rousey has been associated on screen with Natalya. The two wrestlers have been friends since before Rousey came to WWE when Rousey first began her professional wrestling training and Rousey has been teaming with Natalya on the European tour. In an interview with an Irish outlet called Joe, Natalya talked about Rousey's qualities as an athlete.
"She makes it really hard not to like her. She's a good friend of mine. I'm impressed by her on so many levels. Her work ethic, her attitude, her drive, her determination to be innovative and different but to still stick to her roots. But she's still really humble. I like being around her," said Natalya. "When I train with her and work with her, she makes me wanna be better," she added.
Natalya also spoke about the progress of the women's division and how she hopes to be wrestling in Saudi Arabia in the coming years when WWE returns.
Rousey is challenging Nia Jax for the Raw Women's Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
