Konosuke Takeshita will defend his NEVER Openweight Championship against KUSHIDA at NJPW Battle in the Valley on January 11th.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed the bout during NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
Takeshita won the NEVER Openweight Title from Shingo Takagi at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom. He successfully defend the title at Wrestle Dynasty against Tomohiro Ishii.
Oleg Boltin stepped to Takeshita backstage at Wrestle Dynasty, but no match was confirmed.
