For the first time ever, Daniel Garcia is holding AEW gold. Garcia defeated Jack Perry at AEW Full Gear to capture the AEW TNT Title. He captured the gold using his Dragontamer submission hold, making Perry tap out in the center of the ring.
Daniel Garcia celebrated with the audience briefly before making his way to the back, finally achieving his dream of winning gold in All Elite Wrestling. Garcia's entrance had an extra emotional touch as his mother provided a voiceover during a montage of clips of his childhood.

Jack Perry held the championship for 147 days. He first captured the championship in a Ladder Match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024. He even forged his own championship to match his image.
