We have an AEW Undisputed World Champion.
Following weeks of hype and tension, Jon Moxley defeated CM Punk on the August 24 episode of AEW Dynamite to become the company's Undisputed World Champion. Moxley was able to score the victory by hitting CM Punk with two death-rider DDTs in a squash bout after Punk seemingly re-injured his foot early on in the match.

Jon Moxley originally won the AEW Interim World Title back at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view after defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event of the show.
CM Punk, who won the AEW World Title at the Double Or Nothing show back in May, was away from the company for over two months after he revealed he was dealing with a foot injury. Punk would go on to make his return to AEW on August 10.
