The spoils of New Day's title victory in the group's return were only soured by the grim reality that is the WWE Draft.
Both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston returned on SmackDown and reunited with Big E to make the faction whole once again. Later in the show, The New Day ended up beating Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
Unfortunately for The New Day, the group has been split. In the fourth round of the WWE Draft, SmackDown selected Big E while Raw picked Kingston and Woods. This will be the first time members of The New Day will be on separate rosters.

Now, The New Day will have a farewell match next week on SmackDown, taking on Sheamus, Cesaro and Nakamura.
