Basado Lovers vs. Plan B, IOC Intercontinental Title Match, More Added For 3/8 RCW March Madness

The full card for RCW's "March Madness" event has been announced.

RCW confirmed with a press release the full card for their return to Barcelona with the event "March Madness". The show will be held at the Casinet d’Hostafrancs on March 8, headlined by Miyu Yamashita facing Amale.

The press release announced that alongside the headline match, the Basado Lovers will defend the RCW Tag Titles against Plan B while Black Avalon will defend the IOC Intercontinental Title against Carlos Romo. The full press release of the event is listed below.

Revolution Championship Wrestling (RCW) presents “March Madness 2025”, a wrestling show in Barcelona, Spain, featuring some of Spain’s best professional wrestlers and international stars.

Barcelona, Spain, February 27, 2025

RCW, a Spanish professional wrestling promotion, will host a new wrestling show on March 8 at 6 p.m. (local time in Barcelona), titled “March Madness 2025”. This event will take place at the Casinet d’Hostafrancs (C/ del Rector Triadó, 53, Sants-Montjuïc) in Barcelona, Spain.

The card for this show will consist of 5 matches on the main card and 1 special fight in the pre-show with participants to be confirmed:

1. Ricky Barceló vs. Pedrolo.

  • Ricky Barceló is a Spanish wrestler with 13 years of experience. He also has international experience in Europe. He is one of the few veterans still active and in good physical condition. He is the former Absolute Champion of RIOT and of the extinct Lucha Libre Barcelona.
  • Pedrolo is a Spanish wrestler with 8 years of experience. He is one of the leaders of Resist Pro Wrestling. He is the current Resist County Champion and is the former Tag Team Champion of the same company.

2. Alexa Jade vs. Mercedez Blaze.

  • Alexa Jade is a Peruvian wrestler based in Spain. Her international debut was in 2024, competing for Triple W in Spain. She defeated Abril de la Plata in her RCW debut at El Nuevo Orden 2024. She has 2 consecutive victories in RCW in 2025.
  • Mercedez Blaze is a British wrestler with 8 years of experience. She currently competes regularly in RevPro as a member of Cut Throat Collective. She made her RCW debut at Hell Girls 2025. She also has a lot of experience in PROGRESS and EVE.

3. RCW Men’s Tag Team Championships: Basado Lovers (Issi & Rente) (c) vs. Plan B (Junior Martinez & Lozano).

  • Rente and Issi are Spanish wrestlers. They are part of the El Sindicato de la Lucha faction. They are former Tyris Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Issi represented RCW on a 1-month tour of Japan at Marvelous Pro, a company owned by Chigusa Nagayo, a strategic ally of RCW. They had their first successful defense against “Goldenboy” Santos and Damiao at RCW Rapid Fire 2025.
  • Junior and Lozano are Spanish wrestlers. They are part of the Plan B faction. They debuted in the now defunct Lucha Libre Barcelona and have less than 1 year of experience. Junior, at 16 years old, is one of the great prospects of Spanish wrestling.

4. IOC Intercontinental Championship: Black Avalon ( c ) vs. Carlos Romo.

  • Black Avalon is a Venezuelan wrestler who lives in Spain with a lot of international experience. This year he competed in Japan and South Korea. He is the former RCW Men's Tag Team Champion. Current IOC Intercontinental Champion and the first to win it in European territory.
  • Carlos Romos is a Spanish wrestler with a lot of international experience. He is the former ATTACK Tag Team Champion and Lucha Libre Barcelona Tag Team Champion. He is the former Triple W Absolute and Tag Team Champion. He is the first Spanish wrestler to participate in the Main Event of a RevPro show in the United Kingdom.

5. Amale vs. Miyu Yamashita.

  • Amale is a French wrestler with 12 years of experience. She is considered the best wrestler in France. She has competed in different promotions such as WWE NXTK UK, wXw, GWF, APC Catch, RIXE and RCW. She is currently Champion in France and Italy. She is currently undefeated in RCW as of 2025.
  • Miyu Yamashita is a Japanese wrestler with 11 years of experience. She is part of the first generation of TJPW and is considered the most important wrestler in the company. She holds the record for being the most times Princess of Princess Champion with 4 reigns. She is currently Princess Tag Team Champion with Maki Itoh. She is the first and only woman to win the DDT Universal Championship. She is a former EVE Champion. She has experience all over the world and is considered one of the best wrestlers today.
