Nic Nemeth And Josh Alexander Get Personal, Full Match By Elegance Video, Athena Fools Abadon | TNA x ROH Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

Marigold DREAM STAR GP 2024 Day 3 Results (9/14/24): Mai Sakurai vs. Bozilla

- In the final segment of this week's TNA iMPACT!, Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander came face-to-face 24 hours ahead of their 60-Minute Iron Man Match at TNA Emergence. In the personal war of words, Nemeth informed Alexander that the wrestling business is about evolution, and Alexander expresses frustration with always doing things "the right way." - The show's main event in terms of in-ring action was the first-ever Match By Elegance, which saw Jordynne Grace retain the TNA Knockouts World Title over Ash By Elegance. Check out the full match in the video below:

- Over on Ring of Honor, Athena defeated Aleah James. After the match, she was confronted by Abadon. Still, thanks to MIT, Athena was able to get one up on Abadon.

- This week's ROH was headlined by Lee Moriarty retaining his ROH Pure Title over Angelico.

- Back on iMPACT!, ABC scored a victory over Cody Deaner and Jake Something. However, they did not have much time to celebrate because AJ Francis and Rich Swann were quick to run in and attack the reigning TNA Tag Team Champions.

- Rich Swann attempted unsuccessfully to walk away with gold when he challenged Mike Bailey for the TNA X-Division Title.

- Taya Valkyrie attacked Rachael Ellering and Mina Shirakawa on this week's episode of ROH.

- Ellering had a rough night. She not only lost to Shirakawa and got attacked by Valkyrie but she was also insulted by Harley Cameron during a backstage segment.

- Lance Archer, Evil Uno, Josh Woods, Leila Grey, and Tomohiro Ishii all picked up strong wins during this week's episode of ROH.

- Johnny TV also picked up a strong victory, defeating Sidney Akeem (formerly known as Reggie or SCRYPTS during his time in WWE.)

- Back in TNA, Matt Cardona Says He's Not Cleared To Compete At TNA Emergence, Promises A 'Mystery Monster' Against PCO

- Hammerstone defeated Eric Young on the August 29 TNA iMPACT.
