Nick Aldis will be in action at NWA 74.
Aldis was previously scheduled to challenge Trevor Murdoch for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA 74. Billy Corgan subsequently removed him from the match, but the former champion will still be part of the show.
In a tweet on August 19, the NWA announced that Aldis will face Flip Gordon on the second night of the show.

This match won't be the first clash between Aldis and Gordon in an NWA ring. They previously faced off at NWA Hard Times 2020, where Aldis successfully defended the world title against Gordon, who was a featured member of the ROH roster at the time.
Since ROH went on hiatus and Tony Khan subsequently acquired the company, Gordon has been competing on the independent scene for several promotions, including Control Your Narrative.
NWA 74 is a two-night event scheduled for August 27 & 28 from The Chase in St. Louis. Both nights will air on FITE TV.
The lineup for Night One is available here here and the lineup for Night Two can be found here.
Aldis previously discussed his issues with Corgan. You can check out his comments here.
