While WWE has always toured the world, many of the events have always emanated from the United States, and in recent years, more PLEs and TV episodes have been held in other countries.

Speaking about this, Nick Khan (via Barrett Media) responded that it's not enough to send American content worldwide; it's essential to have boots on the ground to increase excitement about the brand elsewhere.

“You can’t just pipe out American content globally and expect that it’s going to resonate,” Khan said. “You have to be boots on the ground, and that’s what Paul, the creative team, our superstars and everyone else across that was. By the way, it’s not easy, but it had to be done. It was a massive success for us in terms of live gate merchandise and, perhaps most importantly, viewership. So it’s already working, and look for more of that from us moving forward.”

Triple H touted the ease of access of Netflix now hosting WWE Raw globally, meaning that for the first time ever, WWE fans worldwide can tune into one platform simultaneously.

“This is the first time ever that it’s been simplified in a way that, globally, the world over, there’s one place, you know where it is, you know when it’s on and you can just go click on it and get there,” Levesque explained, “whereas before, it was multiple partners all over the place depending on where you were, depending on when it was on and what time and everything else under the sun.”

WWE just hosted a series of events in Europe as part of the Road to WrestleMania. The tour featured several of John Cena's final appearances in major markets like London and Belgium.

WrestleMania 41 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.
