'Sick' Nick is looking forward to putting out more content with Moxley.
Jon Moxley has reemerged back onto the professional wrestling scene and has a plethora of buzz around him coming out of his debut at AEW's Double Or Nothing show and the several podcasts and interviews he's done where he's talked about some of the positives and negatives of working in WWE, his relationship with Vince McMahon among other topics. The day that Moxley became a free agent, a promotional video released on his Twitter page that he revealed was directed by CZW Hall Of Famer 'Sick' Nick Mondo. Mondo, real name Matt Burns was also behind the scenes of Moxley's NJPW promo and Mondo recently sat down with Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet and shared that he hopes to continue working with the former WWE Champion in some capacity going forward.
“I hope so [to keep working with Moxley]. We’re already talking about an action film and we’re already bouncing ideas back and forth because I said to him, I keep seeing the comments and even some of my friends were asking me, ‘Is this a movie you made? Is this a trailer for a movie?’ And I said to him [Moxley], ‘This is a pitching tool, and look at the following and the hype that you have. We work well together, we had a lot of fun’. I said, ‘Let’s expand this and make an action film’. He’s already starred [in an] action film -- 12 Rounds 3, it’s WWE filmed, and so he’s already comfortable in front of the camera. I have a feature under my belt as well and so I said, ‘Let’s do this’, but yeah I’m interested in doing more of this. AEW is very intriguing to me right now so if I could have that opportunity, I would love to do more of these vignettes.” He said.
