NXT Tag Team Wins Reality Of Wrestling Tag Team Titles

Nick's run in AEW so far has resulted in middling success, with a win loss record of 6-4 in the promotion.

Back at AEW WrestleDream, Wayne would turn on his close friend Darby Allin, hitting him over the head with the TNT Championship and aligning with Christian Cage and Luchasauras. Since then, Nick has disowned his mother in favor of his his new father figure in Cage. Wayne is now scheduled to make his pay-per-view debut for the promotion tonight at AEW Full Gear.

While speaking to ROAR Around The Ring, Wayne addressed his upcoming PPV debut, noting that he feels it's "crazy" that he is part of the match tonight at just 18 years old.

"This is actually my first pay-per-view that I’ve done for AEW. I was a part of WrestleDream, but I was on the zero hour, I wrestled Luchasaurus. This is my first main card pay-per-view event, but the preparation has been crazy, mentally and physically. I’m training as hard as possible, I mean I’ve been training as hard as possible, but now you’re thinking that everything is leading to this pay-per-view. Being in this type of match teaming with Christian Cage and facing Adam Copeland and Sting and being a part of one of Sting’s last matches as his retirement is coming up in February, it’s a huge honor to be a part of this match. It feels crazy knowing that I’m a part of this match at eighteen years old, I’m very grateful to have this opportunity." Wayne said

Wayne is currently scheduled to team with his new father figure and Luchasauras to take on the trio of Adam Copeland, Sting and Darby Allin on tonight's show.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Wayne noted that if Christian were to lose the TNT Championship, he would happily recover the title for him. You can read more here.
