The Bellas are back.
Former WWE Divas Champions Nikki and Brie Bella made their return to in-ring competition tonight at a WWE live event in Rochester, New York. The Bella Twins have been featured on WWE television over the past week as well. They were both ringside for the RAW Women's Championship match at SummerSlam between Alexa Bliss and the eventual winner of the match and new champion Ronda Rousey. Following Ronda's championship victory Nikki and Brie celebrated with Ronda in the ring and backstage.
The following night on RAW the Bellas were present once again for the presentation of the RAW Women's Title to "Rowdy" Ronda. The Bellas sided with the babyfaces who were in the ring as the heels comforted RAW commissioner Stephanie McMahon on the outside after she was put in an armbar by Ronda. Brie Bella's trip to Brooklyn did not end on Monday night as she made an appearance on SmackDown Live to do what her husband Daniel Bryan has been wanting to do for months which is to punch Miz in the face. The fallout from that interaction was a match being made for WWE's 'Hell In A Cell' PPV featuring Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella taking on The Miz and Maryse.
Tonight in Rochester was Nikki's first match since June of this year and it was Brie's first match since the Women's Royal Rumble match in January. The two teamed up with Ember Moon and they defeated the 'Riott Squad'.
