Your move, North Carolina.
On Monday, March 24, WRAL News reported on the North Carolina Senate creating a bipartisan bill that could possibly set up a future professional wrestling hall of fame in the state.
The bill, titled the 'RIC FLAIR Act', will grant $500,000 to the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, allowing them to study the potential introduction of a professional wrestling hall of fame. The department is expected to deliver a report by Summer 2026.
In this case, RIC FLAIR stands for 'An Act to Remember Iconic Combatants through Fostering Learning Awareness and Interest In Rassling'.
