Hard Times 3 will be headlined by a Triple Threat for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
While they had previously been announced that Matt Cardona would face Trevor Murdoch for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Hard Times 3 in Louisiana, that match has now had a new wrinkle thrown in.
As of the September 24 episode of NWA USA, Tyrus has officially cashed in his Lucky 7 option, and as a result, he has relinquished the NWA Television Championship belt for another shot at the ten pounds of gold.

Tyrus previously faced Trevor Murdoch in the main event of NWA 74, coming out on the losing end, but Tyrus did not wait long before cashing in a guaranteed opportunity in order to get another chance.
Now, each man is in more jeopardy as they can lose their opportunity to become the NWA World Champion without even losing the match due to the nature of Triple Threats.
