It's a championship edition of NXT on May 11.
Santos Escobar will get his rematch for the NXT Cruiserweight Title next Tuesday when he takes on Kushida.
Kushida answered Escobar's open challenge on April 13 and defeated him to capture the NXT Cruiserweight Title. After being laid out by Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma last Tuesday, Kushida showed up on May 4 to challenge Escobar to a title bout. Escobar had no issue accepting the challenge.
The bout will be contested under two out of three falls.
Plus, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that Karrion Kross will battle Austin Theory in singles competition. The match was booked at the request of Scarlett, who is Theory's new not so best friend. Theory and Johnny Gargano would get the jump on Kross after the match was announced, attacking him in the ring after Kross was confronted by multiple challengers.
Plus, Alexander Wolfe will battle Killian Dain.
As previously announced, the NXT Women's Title will be on the line on the May 11 episode of NXT as Raquel Gonzalez defends against Mercedes Martinez.
