Candice LeRae is getting one more shot at the NXT Women's Championship.
During tonight's episode of NXT, LeRae defeated Shotzi Blackheart to become the No. 1 contender to Io Shirai's title. The match ended thanks to LeRae getting some help from what appeared to be brass knuckles handed to her by Indi Hartwell.
The title match between Shirai and LeRae will take place at Halloween Havoc, taking place on October 28, and it is a rematch from their NXT TakeOver 31 title bout, which Shirai won.
