A rematch from the Mae Young Classic.
Tonight on NXT TV Nikki Cross, Kairi Sane, and Candice LeRae did battle in a Triple-Threat match to determine who would be moving on to TakeOver: Brooklyn IV on August 18th to challenge Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship.
Baszler bested the "Twisted Sister Of SAnitY" Nikki Cross last month at TakeOver: Chicago II and has been looking for the next individual to step up to the plate and challenge her. The individual who stepped up was the woman who defeated Shayna last Fall in the finals of the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament Kairi Sane. Kairi has now earned herself a spot on the TakeOver: Brooklyn IV card as she will go one-on-one with Shayna Baszler one more time and this go-around there is a bigger prize at stake and that prize is the NXT Women's Championship.
