Orange Cassidy is not good with emotions.
Orange Cassidy's whole shtick is that he's cool, calm, and collected. Still, he is human. Therefore, despite his best efforts to appear unbothered by literally everything ever, it's still very possible he gets nervous, especially before big matches.
Speaking to Fightful's Iridian Fierro for WGN Radio, Cassidy addressed his emotions prior to matches. True to character, Cassidy says he's not sure if it's truly nerves he wrestles with, but he does admit to feeling anxiety and says that he just wants to get things over with as soon as possible so that he can go home.
"Yeah, it is probably nerves that I'm feeling, but it's also kind of anxious. Maybe they're the same thing, I don't know. I just feel like I have a job to do and I want to do it, and like, let's just do it. Let's go. The quicker we do this, the quicker I can be done. I can go home. I don't know what that emotion is. It's like anxious, nervous — because I don't really get nervous, but maybe I do. Maybe that's what I'm feeling. I'm not very good with emotions."
While that's a very relatable feeling, something that may not be as relatable is the hodgepodge of individuals Orange Cassidy conglomerates with these days in All Elite Wrestling.
