Now, according to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, one name that motion capture was recorded for was Owen Hart. Thought it was previously announced by AEW that Hart would be associated with the game, it was never clarified in what capacity. The report states that Owen and CM Punk have been confirmed to him as playable characters in the game.

This will be the first video game that Owen has been in since Showdown: Legends of Wrestling in 2004. His final appearance in a WWE game came in 1999's WWF Attitude. As for Punk, he was last featured in WWE 2K15.
