PCO Vs. LA Park Added To MLW Fury Road, Fenix & Pentagon Off The Show

The independent tour of two WCW wrestlers continues.

In the late 1990s and going into 2000, PCO and LA Park were both part of the WCW roster during the Monday Night Wars. They never met in any singles matches while in WCW as PCO was mostly part of the tag team division. Both of them were part of a battle royal in 1996 at World War 3.

Major League Wrestling announced on Friday that the two wrestlers will meet in a singles match at MLW Fury Road. The match will be part of a television taping.

The following is a press release sent to Fightful Wrestling by MLW.

The fans have demanded it and on October 4th at Melrose Ballroom in Queens, NY LA Park will fight Pierre Carl Ouellet (“PCO”) as MLW presents FURY ROAD: an MLW Fusion TV taping.

Tickets are available now at MLWTickets.com.

This match replaces the originally scheduled Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix vs. LA Park & El Hijo de LA Park bout.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix will not be able to attend the October 4 show. With fans demanding an LA Park vs. PCO encounter, matchmakers quickly moved to sign the new match.

LA Park, who competed in MLW 2002-03, returns to MLW this fall and this time he’s bringing his protégé and son, El Hijo de LA Park.

PCO smashed his way through the competition in his MLW debut in July with MLW CEO Court Bauer recently revealing the “French Canadian Frankenstein” would be a regularly featured wrestler on MLW cards this fall.

In a battle of two heavyweight brawlers, fans can anticipate a wild encounter in New York City October 4th!

More will be announced on Friday night’s nationally televised MLW series, MLW: FUSION on beIN Sports at 8pm ET.
