Pete Dunne says he has wrapped up his time on the independent scene.
The longest-reigning champion in WWE at the moment is the United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne. Dunne defeated Tyler Bate in the main event of today's PROGRESS Wrestling 'Chapter 82: Unboxing' show. According to Dunne that was his last match on the British independent wrestling scene as he noted the following on Twitter:
Finished my time on the British independent scene tonight. Closing out a week that saw me in New York, Germany, Spain and London. 13 years that I wouldn’t change for anything, on to the next chapter -- pic.twitter.com/ATDcN1fUVA

There is no word on what exactly this means for Pete Dunne and other NXT U.K. talents but as more information comes to the forefront, we will continue to update you here on Fightful.
