Pete Dunne Wants WrestleMania In United Kingdom And To Defend His Championship On The Event

Pete Dunne would like to defend his Championship on the grandest stage.

After the first day of the United Kingdom tournament event, Pete Dunne discussed his defense of the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Zack Gibson and how he wants to use the Championship to showcase the talent and style of professional wrestling in the United Kingdom. He told Inside the Ropes that he wants to see the Championship defended on a "big four" pay-per-view like WrestleMania.

"Obviously building this title is something I'm very passionate about...having a WrestleMania in the UK or even a Survivor Series or SummerSlam would be great. Defending on that would complete make my career," said Dunne.

Dunne has wrestled on Raw, defended his Championship on NXT, and appeared during WrestleMania 34 Axxess.

As for an opponent for such a match, Dunne suggested Tyler Bate and Mark Andrews.

Also during the interview with reporters Dunne discussed his experience at the United Kingdom event in Royal Albert Hall and seeing Johnny Saint in a WWE ring with Triple H.
