- Chad Gable hung out with Heavy Machinery before SmackDown went on the air. You can view their interaction in the video above.
-Andrade is back on SmackDown and Finn Balor got a measure of revenge following his loss to El Idolo last week on Raw.
- Roman Reigns was not fired on SmackDown. But he was attacked by Shane McMahon and Elias. By the end of the night, Reigns vs. Elias was official for WWE Money in the Bank.
- Jinder Mahal is now on SmackDown Live. He was scheduled to face Chad Gable, but Lars Sullivan had other ideas.
- And now, for something completely different. Becky Lynch will face Charlotte Flair at WWE Money in the Bank.
- Kairi Sane picked up a singles victory over Peyton Royce as the Women's Tag Team Champions continue to lose matches.
- Daniel Bryan was advertised for a dark match after SmackDown, but did not appear. As Fightful Select reported earlier today, Bryan was not backstage in the hours leading up to SmackDown.
- Kevin Owens is no longer a member of The New Day after turning on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
