The Premier Athletes of Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari are calling their shot against some bad dudes in the trio of HOOK, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata.
The June 8 episode of Collision saw Joe and HOOK attack The Premier Athletes as retaliation for them messing with HOOK's Funyuns on the June 5 AEW Dynamite. This attack happened while Shibata was filming it all.
In a digital exclusive, The Premier Athletes, along with their manager Mark Sterling, explained what they were going to do to get their revenge on the men who assaulted them with Daivari promising to kick the living shit out of them.
"Normally in a situation like this where we see a backstage assault, I'd be pressing charges," Sterling began. "You'd see Samoa Joe, HOOK, and Shibata, as an accomplice, in handcuffs headed to jail, But tonight, this time, I'm not going to do that. Jerks like that don't even respect law and order and I'm sick and tired of seeing people cheer for bullies like that."
Daivari adds, "It's something I'm having a really hard time comprehending. I mean, how is it that The Premier Athletes confront HOOK and Samoa Joe like honorable men, face-to-face, and we are the bad guys in the situation? But they jump us, they Blindside us, they Sucker Punch us, and people want to cheer for them?
"Now, HOOK, normally I would say, 'Hey, come join The Premier Athletes. We will teach you how to be a man, but I've got a way better idea. I've got a way better idea of teaching you something and that's by kicking the living shit out of you. After we're done with you, it's going to be Joe. After we're done with Joe, it's going to be Shibata. The Premier Athletes are going to make sure that this stupid little group doesn't even get started."
Nese concluded, "Because we live by the 'Three A's: Anybody. Anywhere. Anytime.'"
