"The Viper" does believe that Ronda Rousey has a good chance of success in the sport of pro-wrestling.
While heading into town for today's SmackDown Live, TMZ Sports caught up with former 4-time World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. Orton was asked to give his take on Ronda Rousey coming to the WWE and was also asked does he believe she will be successful in pro-wrestling.
Orton jokingly, first stated that he didn't know anything about Rousey when asked about her.
"I don’t know anything about Rousey. She’s on RAW, I'm on SmackDown, I’m going to work I'm sorry. I never met her… I don’t, you know…. I don’t watch RAW, I’m a SmackDown guy."
Orton would then go to elaborate on his thoughts about Rousey, stating that there is a good chance she could become one of the top female wrestlers.
"Its not that I don’t have any interest in it, I don’t know her. Based on what she’s accomplished, I would say she has a good chance of being one of the top female wrestlers….. eventually, but she’s got a long way to go."
When asked did he think Rousey, when its all said and done, will have made a major name for herself in the industry, Randy Orton left it with a "We'll have to see".
"There’s no way to tell. Yeah, but well find out. When’s she signing the contract?.... I guess we’ll find out from that day forward."
Ronda Rousey will be making her second appearance on WWE programming as she will be signing her RAW contract at the 'Elimination Chamber' PPV next Sunday.
