References To Saudi Arabia Removed From WWE Website

WWE removed Crown Jewel from the Tickets & Events section of their website.

You can still access the event page under the Shows section. However, references to Saudi Arabia have been removed. For example, if you go to the WWE Evolution page and check out the previews, the following information is listed at the top:

TNA Wrestling Programming Listed On Sportsnet 360 Schedule In 2025

For Crown Jewel, event location and a ticket link are missing.

WWE is also referring to the location as the Middle East in the previews instead of Saudi Arabia.

A Fightful reader pointed out that the show was never listed under the Tickets & Events tab to begin with as WWE doesn't not sell tickets for the event. The tickets are sold through sauditickets.sa. The SaudiTickets website still has WWE listed as "coming soon," but tickets are not yet available. The user also explained that WWE did the same thing, not listing tickets for the event, prior to the Greatest Royal Rumble.

WWE has come under fire for moving forward with the Nov. 2 event in the wake of the news that Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi disappeared at the Saudi Arabia consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Reports have stated that Khashoggi was killed on orders of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Fightful contributor David Bixenspan says that he spoke to WWE, who said everything should be listed as normal.

US Senators have spoken out about WWE's involvement with the Crown Prince and have called for them to cancel the event. WWE stated that they are "currently monitoring the situation" but as of now, plan to move forward with the event.
