Paquette joins the current pool of backstage interviewers in AEW that includes names such as Alex Marvez, Lexy Nair, and Tony Schiavone. Paquette's husband, Jon Moxley, is an AEW original and also the current World Champion for the promotion. Moxley won the title back at the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite by defeating Bryan Danielson in the finals of the Tournament Of Champions.

Paquette hasn't had a job in a wrestling promotion since 2020 when she departed from WWE after spending nearly ten years with the company. Since leaving WWE, Paquette has started a podcast where she talks to pop culture names along with pro wrestlers. Paquette and Moxley also welcomed a child to the world in June 2021.

Paquette commented on her signing in a new tweet:

Fightful Select recently reported that sources within WWE were expecting Paquette to join AEW in the near future.
