Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Apollo is now officially internally listed as part of the WWE NXT roster as is Commander Azeez. Apollo Crews was paired with Azeez from WWE WrestleMania 37 onward. Upon his return to NXT, Apollo had dropped his Nigerian accent that he was using all throughout his time as a heel on the main roster while paired with Azeez.

Apollo Crews was briefly on the WWE NXT roster until he was called up after WrestleMania 32 in 2016. Azeez, also known as Babatunde and Dabba Kato, never had much of a on on NXT but he was involved in some of the final EVOLVE cards and did participate in The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia back in 2018.

Apollo and Azeez did not appear on last night's show together and it remains to be seen if they will be paired moving forward.
