Billy Corgan and Dixie Carter are in a power struggle for TNA, and it's going to the court room.
PWInsider reports that TNA President Billy Corgan has filed a lawsuit against TNA Impact Wrestling and their parent company Impact Ventures LLC, TNA Chairman Dixie Carter, TNA Chief Financial Officer Dean Broadhead and Carter’s husband Serg Salias.
The case was filed in the Chancery Court of Nashville, TN on October, 12. We've reached out to several TNA employees, Billy Corgan and Dixie Carter on the matter, who haven't commented.
Corgan started investing in TNA this summer, saving the company from shutting down in June when they had financial issues heading into Slammiversary. He was named company President in August, and started to run the company's day-to-day operations.
Corgan wanted and attempted to buy the company, but wasn't willing to do so unless the future of the company was secured. TNA gained the financial means to tape television through the end of the year.
