Report: Dasha Fuentes Released By WWE

WWE is down one backstage interviewer.

Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Dasha Fuentes has been released by WWE. No reason was given for her release from the company, but PWS does clarify that she was in New York City for this past weekend's WrestleMania festivities.

The 30-year old Fuentes, real name Dasha Gonzalez, actually joined WWE's Performance Center as a wrestler and trained for about a year before moving on. She had only one match on record, an NXT Largo live event, where she teamed with Becky Lynch and Dana Brooke in a losing effort to Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Devin Taylor.

Fuentes moved on to the NXT broadcast team as a backstage interviewer, eventually hitting the main roster and 205 Live. It was noted that on Instagram, she shared a video that said "it's been an interesting couple of days," before mentioning that she was headed on a trip that wasn't work related.
