A heated altercation took place at WrestleCon Saturday afternoon.
Along with the many events and shows that have taken place over the last few days in New Orleans, one those events is WrestleCon which is where wrestlers, promoters, and anyone who has a ties to the world of professional wrestling are hosting meet and greets with their fans and catching up with their fellow comrades who have also been or are in the business. The afternoon of April 7th at WrestleCon did not go so smooth as there was reportedly an altercation between WWE Hall Of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts and the son of The British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith Jr.
PWInsider is reporting that those who were present at WrestleCon witnessed the events that took place between the two parties and the site notes that they were told Smith Jr. walked directly up to Roberts' booth and threw a cup off coffee at Roberts without saying a word. Security then came onto the scene and cleared out the area. Davey Boy Smith Jr. left the venue before police arrived.
To add, Jake "The Snake" Roberts has spoken negatively of The British Bulldog in numerous "shoot" interviews that can be found on YouTube. No further information has come to the forefront regarding exactly Davey Boy Smith Jr. tossed the cup of coffee at the WWE Hall Of Famer.
