After suffering a fractured wrist while teaming with Utami Hayashishita against Bozilla & Sareee at Marigold's Fields Forever event in May, Giulia, who underwent surgery on May 28, has reportedly been cleared to compete less than a week before she is scheduled to face Saree in a singles competition at Marigold Summer Destiny 2024.
The report comes courtesy of Tokyo Sports, as Rossy Ogawa, founder of Marigold, declared that they received the okay from Giulia's doctor. Furthermore, a press conference will be held on July 12, at which Giulia will be able to provide more details on her recovery.
"Everything is now set, so now it's just a matter of waiting for the big day," said Ogawa of the upcoming event.
The upcoming event on July 13 will also feature WWE star IYO Sky's return to Japan for the first time in six years as she faces Utami Hayashishita in a one-on-one match. Learn more about her participation here.
