Jeff Hardy in trouble again.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Jeff Hardy was arrested on the evening of Oct. 3 in Moore County, North Carolina and charged with driving while impaired.
Moore County Police Department confirmed to PWI that Hardy was released around 11:30 p.m. ET on Thursday from being incarcerated. The department declined to give additional details beyond what he has been charged with, citing the fact that it is an ongoing investigation.
WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider:
"Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions."
Hardy has been out of action since April due to a leg injury.
The former WWE Champion was previously arrested on March 10, 2018, for driving while impaired following a traffic accident in Concord, North Carolina. He was arrested again on July 13, 2019, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for public intoxication. Hardy's legal battles date back to 2009 when he was arrested on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids. He served ten days in jail in 2011 after pleading guilty to the charges.
