Jon Moxley is reportedly headed for a showdown with an NJPW talent.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Moxley is "likely" to face a top NJPW talent at AEW All Out in September.
Meltzer said Moxley recently talked with Tony Khan about working with a top NJPW talent and Meltzer believes the match would be for AEW All Out.
Moxley appeared on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite and called out Hiroshi Tanahashi, who appeared earlier on the program in a video package where he challenged for the IWGP United States Title. Moxley was upset that Tanahashi made the challenge after he lost the title last Wednesday to Lance Archer.
Archer successfully defended the IWGP US Title against Hikuleo on Wednesday's Dynamite. After the show, Archer vs. Tanahashi was made official for NJPW Resurgence on August 14.
AEW All Out is scheduled for September 5 in Chicago. Moxley's involvement at the event has not been made official.
