Madison Rayne is out of ROH.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Rayne has received her release from Ring of Honor. Johnson reports that there was unhappiness in Rayne's creative direction and the two sides agreed to go their separate ways. The split is reportedly amicable.
Rayne signed a one-year deal with ROH in September 2018. In November 2018, Rayne told Fightful that her goal in ROH was to win the Women of Honor Title and carry the division.
She competed in the Women of Honor Title tournament in January 2018, losing in the first round to Mandy Leon. In November, she defeated Britt Baker in an ROH Women Of Honor Title #1 Contendership match. She got her shot at the title in a Four Corner Survival match at Final Battle 2018, losing to new champion Kelly Klein.
Rayne defeated Jenny Rose and Sumie Sakai in a triple threat match on the most recent episode of ROH television. She defeated Thunder Rosa at the recent TV tapings in Lakeland, FL.
She is a former five-time Knockouts Champion in IMPACT Wrestling and competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament, losing to Mercedes Martinez in the first round.
