Good news for NXT UK Superstars.
According to reports, all NXT UK talent are safe from the recent cuts made by WWE as a cost-cutting measure due to all of the changes occurring because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, WWE laid off several roster members, producers, and other staff members in an effort to cut costs while they are not able to operate as normal and all television tapings have been moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for the foreseeable future. While there were cuts made across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, NXT UK noticeably did not see any names let go from their contract.
According to a report by Tony Quant of Mirror Sport, NXT UK will not be seeing any roster cuts at this time and will continue to be paid in full. No in-ring WWE talent can be furloughed as they are self-employed/independent contractors.
Just spoke to a source who has confirmed that WWE NXT UK will be making no cuts to its roster at this time. Also the roster are getting paid in full and will not be furloughed as they are all self employed!

One name associated with NXT UK that has reportedly been cut is Kassius Ohno. The former Chris Hero has even changed his name to "WWE Alumni" on social media. Learn more about that at this link.
