The reported reason Rey Mysterio was not on WWE Raw.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Mysterio missed Monday's WWE Raw with a "medical issue." He was originally advertised to face Veer, but was replaced by his son Dominik Mysterio.
Veer ended up defeating Mysterio and then continued the assault after the match. Dominik was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
It is unknown when Mysterio will return to television.
Rhea Ripley also missed Monday's WWE Raw and it was announced on TV that she was "in protocol." Ripley was scheduled to team with Liv Morgan to challenge Sasha Banks & Naomi for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Instead, Morgan faced Naomi in singles competition.
