Over the past number of weeks John Cena has been in China doing promotional work for WWE and fulfilling his role in Jackie Chan's action-thriller movie 'Project X'. This past Sunday at SummerSlam, in his fourth one-on-one attempt at defeating Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns was able to get over the hump and he bested "The Beast" and is now WWE's Universal Champion. That is not the only accolade that has been added to Roman's resume this week. It was reported by Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Roman Reigns has now overtaken John Cena as the number one merchandise seller in all of WWE.

Roman Reigns is steadfast about being a "fighting champion" as he embarked on his run as Universal Champion on RAW this past Monday. Following his successful title defense against Finn Balor, some familiar allies of Roman Reigns came to his aid after the "Mr. Monster In The Bank" Braun Strowman was poised to cash in the Money In The Bank contract.
