Taya Valkyrie has found a new home.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the longtime-IMPACT Wrestling Star has signed with WWE and will be joining the NXT brand. The story also states that the company will announce her arrival alongside the next class of signings. Johnson concludes by mentioning that Taya was present at the February 10 NXT TV taping.
On Tuesday, January 19th's IMPACT, it was revealed Taya Valkyrie was behind the shooting of John E. Bravo. Larry D was originally charged with the crime, but it was discovered by detective Acey Romero that Taya framed Larry D.
Tommy Dreamer had her taken out by security and hauled off to 'jail.' Dreamer said if she's lucky, she's going to Jacksonville State Prison but if she isn't, she'll be going to Stamford Correctional for two years with an option for a third year.
Valkyrie worked IMPACT Hard to Kill, losing to Deonna Purrazzo. Fightful Select reported she was not present for the subsequent TV tapings.
Taya had been with IMPACT since September 2017. She leaves quite the legacy, however, as the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion in the promotion's history.
