The show before the show.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that Fox will air a one-hour SmackDown special on Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET called "SmackDown's Greatest Hits." The show is meant to serve as a preview special for SmackDown's move to Fox, which takes place on Oct. 4.
Fox has gone to great lengths to promote SmackDown over the last couple of weeks, beginning with the "We're All Superstars" promo, which you can see below. Along with that promo, SmackDown overlays have been part of the NFL on Fox broadcasts with announcers tying the overlay and ad read to certain players and their love of WWE and wrestling.

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reports that TNT is planning an AEW special on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the night before AEW on TNT premieres. The idea, according to Meltzer, is that the special will air at 8 p.m. ET. SmackDown won't air on USA that night as it's the same week the show officially moves to Fox. TNT ran an All Out preview show on Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. ET, which drew 390,000 viewers.
AEW and WWE have not confirmed their respective specials.
