The Undertaker is reportedly heading to Detroit the same weekend as SummerSlam 2023.
A new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the Undertaker will be in Detroit, Michigan, the same weekend at WWE SummerSlam will take place at Ford Field, the same venue where Undertaker defeated Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE WrestleMania 23 in 2007.
Undertaker is not currently scheduled to host one of his 1 deadMAN SHOWs in Detroit that weekend, and it is currently unknown what his role will be in Detroit. WWE is hosting tryouts, however. Undertaker has previously discussed working with the future of WWE at the WWE Performance Center.
The Undertaker hasn't competed since the Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 and has not competed at SummerSlam since defeating Brock Lesnar in 2015. Undertaker competed in every SummerSlam event from 1992-2005 and made several more appearances at the event through 2015.
